Brenden Long

Education
Brenden graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2005. While at Duquesne, he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review and a published author.

Prior to law school, Brenden attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, earning a degree in accounting and finance. In his free time, Brenden was a 4-year letterman on the Division II soccer team at UPJ.
Experience
While attending Duquesne Law School, he interned with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in Pittsburgh. In addition, he was a law clerk for Paul M. Daniels and Associates, focusing on wills and estates, family law, and bankruptcy. In 2006, he accepted a law clerk position for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Kanawha County, WV, which allowed him to see all the areas of law in the West Virginia state court system.
Prior to starting Long Law Offices, PLLC, Brenden was an assistant prosecutor in Kanawha County, WV. During this time he received special advocacy and trial training at the National Advocacy Center and through the National District Attorneys Association, as well as extensive DUI training from the West Virginia Prosecuting Attorneys Institute.

Brenden is thrilled to expand his office to serve the citizens of both North Carolina and West Virginia.

Associations
Brenden is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Pennsylvania Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, and the Putnam County (WV) Bar Association. He is also a former member of both the Putnam County (WV) Drug Court and Putnam County Criminal Justice Board.
Family
Growing up in Somerset County, PA, Brenden enjoyed playing sports, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. Shortly after moving to Charleston, he met his wife Ilse. They are members at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Charleston. They currently reside in Putnam County.
